It’s time to Step Outside
We’re delighted that Our Step Outside Gardening Group is now officially open for 2026. We were treated to wonderful live music from Kate, Duncan (our lovely Jolly Volly) and Andy, which set the tone for a warm and lively afternoon.
It was also lovely to welcome new Jolly guests, Karen and Nina. There was much business throughout the afternoon, as everyone set to planting potatoes, weeding, harvesting carrots and spring onions, moving soil, laying mulch paths and sowing seeds. It was a proper team effort and the allotment looked great after all our hard work.
We were treated to homemade scones from Sarah and Sandra, plus some tasty shortbread brought along by our Jolly guests. All washed down with plenty of cups of Dorset Tea.
All in all, it was a really productive time and a great way to start the year.
