What we’re about...

In Jolly Good Company would like to play a role in the improvement of people’s physical and mental health. The activities on offer help us to look beyond lost skills to focus on the positivity of what we are able to do now. This gives a sense of satisfaction and achievement.

Our indoor and outdoor sessions will encourage staying physically active and promote better health. With this in mind, at our Wimborne St Giles days we offer a simple, delicious and nutritious lunch.

We want to help people make the most of their lives, feel important, needed and an integral part of a group.

We are collaborating with the Village Hall Committee, the Church, the Shaftesbury Estate and the local school in Wimborne St Giles in order to make In Jolly Good Company a rip roaring success. We will also train local volunteers to work with us. We are in the process of fundraising to offer subsidised places. People find being at our groups uplifting, the boost in mood can last long after our day together has ended.

‘Thank you, this has been a brilliant day, which I have much enjoyed. A ‘safe’ place with like minded people and lots of caring people around. Loved it!’.
