We love to move it move it!

Yoga with Suzanne Greenwood

Active Dorset has started us moving more at our Jolly Days and we are proud to be part of Dorset’s Physical Activity Strategy ‘A Movement for Movement’.  Thanks to Dorset Council and The National Lottery we are continuing our work with Suzanne Greenwood yoga and Sandi Macy Hart dance this year to help our guests, volunteers, and staff to get the benefits of moving more.

The benefits of moving more are well established. Being active by moving our bodies in whatever way works best for us can help keep us happy and healthy as we age. It’s not just about sport or formal exercise.

As well as the importance of moving, we know more about the harm that sedentary behaviour or sitting can cause us. Despite this, many of us still find making movement part of everyday life a challenge. That’s why we’re so happy to be able to continue with our jolly movement sessions.

I’m a web designer and I love creating beautiful, affordable websites that work hard for small businesses. Simply put, a business needs a website to reach more customers. It needs to look good but it also needs to work hard. That’s where I can help, I build cost-effective, good looking websites that are both mobile and google friendly.
