What a Jolly Day we had

Our Wimborne St Giles Jolly Day was jam-packed with entertainment. We were served a delicious Swedish-themed lunch by The Friendly Food Club. This was made more special by the fact it was Silvi's Birthday and she’s Swedish. We enjoyed Swedish meatballs (with a yummy veggie alternative), mashed potatoes with creamy mushroom sauce, peas and blackberry jam with lime cheesecake for dessert.

Then Anne, one of our lovely guests, led us in a buttonhole and corsage-making workshop. She brought along some beautiful roses for us to work with. Anne has a City and Guilds qualification in Floral Art and a Teaching Certificate. She has always enjoyed taking part in flower arranging competitions and is the proud holder of a Gold Medal from the Chelsea Flower Show! She did an amazing job and we loved the activity.

Last, but not least, we had a visit from the Wardrobe Foundation based at Cranborne. They brought excellent quality second-hand clothes for our ladies to browse and take home. They are an excellent local charity that helps those who find it difficult to shop.

I’m a web designer and I love creating beautiful, affordable websites that work hard for small businesses. Simply put, a business needs a website to reach more customers. It needs to look good but it also needs to work hard. That’s where I can help, I build cost-effective, good looking websites that are both mobile and google friendly.
